INTRODUCTION TO CHARM
A web-based Management Information System (MIS), charm, is being developed by Family League and external consultants that will enable us to manage, monitor, and evaluate key programs and initiatives funded and/or supported through us. This new system completely replaces ETO for Family League funded programs.
We recognize that the best information comes from our direct-service partners in the field. That’s why we’re putting secure web-based data collection tools, like charm, into the hands of the direct-service providers we support. The effort reflects our commitment to ensure that reliable data informs our decisions, our investments, and our funded partners’ work.
Data and information on activities, services, and participant outcomes will be collected from funded partners via charm. Much of this information will be collected by funded partner staff “in the field” using a laptop, tablet, or cell phone during and immediately following activities.
