Community School Lead Agency Training- 10/10/17, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
OST Frontline Staff Training- 10/10/17, 2:00pm – 4:00pm or 10/26/17, 10:00am – 12:00pm

All training listed takes place at Family League of Baltimore, 2305 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21218. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to receive a visitor badge. Metered street parking is available on Charles St. and most side streets. Please bring a laptop, if possible.

IMPORTANT REMINDER to all OST Sites

All attendance data for September must be entered in charm by COB October 5th.  Please note that the data will be locked and cannot be entered after this date.

Updated Procedure for Obtaining a charm User Account

After September 29, 2017, all new charm users must sign up for a new account through the charm Help Desk. The Help Desk is also the entry point for subscribing to the charm newsletter, which all users are required to receive.

Required: End User License Agreements

Beginning the week of September 25, 2017, charm users will see an End User License Agreement (EULA) page as they enter log-in credentials. The terms of the agreement will be displayed and users must click “Agree and Continue.” (If you choose “Disagree,” you will be logged out of the system.) Please note that charm users must consent to the EULA in order to access the system. From time to time, the EULA may change, and when that happens, you will be prompted to “Agree” again. 

Making a System Change Request is Easy!

Requesting a change in charm that reflects your actual day-to-day requirements is fairly easy. We’ve created a specific support ticket for this purpose. Simply click on the charm Help Desk icon and you’ll see the following:


Next, click on the “System Change Request” link and fill out the form fields. Stay tuned for more new customized ticket forms that will make it easier for you to submit support requests.

We’re Committed to Continuous Improvement

Every new system like charm benefits from changes that make it easier for users, while also improving the system overall. But we don’t want to surprise you with changes, just as you’re learning the system. So here’s our approach:

  • All significant changes to charm will be announced in advance in this newsletter (so be sure to keep reading!)
  • Users who submit change requests that have not been implemented within 45 days of a submitted ticket will be contacted directly by e-mail.

A Note About charm in Family League Contracts

Family League Funded Partners will notice a few additions in the FY 18 contracts that are related to charm. These are meant to clarify and guide organizations to put into place solid data collection and sharing practices, and support the overall use of charm. Our Funded Partnerships and Data and Evaluation teams will provide technical assistance and support around these practices and the use of charm throughout the year.
