New Year, New News

Jonathon Rondeau, President & CEO

The new year promises to bring all of us many new challenges as well as many new opportunities. We’re redoubling our efforts to bring timely, useful and even inspiring information and stories to all our partners and stakeholders on a regular basis.

Now more than ever, we’re committed to collaborating on, and investing in, meaningful initiatives that open more doors to more opportunities for Baltimore’s children, youth, and families. We’re looking forward to working with Mayor Catherine Pugh and the Baltimore City Council, as well as the Governor’s Office for Children, to support an agenda that’s very focused on strengthening our communities.

Last week, we held a conference call open to everyone interested in hearing about our plans and priorities for 2017; this was a great opportunity to gather questions and comments from our friends in the community too. You can listen to the call here. We hope to do more of these in the future.

We’re already deeply engaged in potential legislation taking shape in Annapolis, which affects the communities we all care about. A summary of statewide priorities is available here. If you’d like to follow our legislative activities, sign up for our legislative briefings here.

We’re always open to hearing from you. Send questions and comments to info@familyleague.org.  And please continue to follow us on Facebook and on Twitter @Family_League.
