Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Family League of Baltimore would celebrate its Annual Meeting each year in lieu of its November Board of Directors Meeting. Family League returned to that tradition – with a bit of twist – by presenting its first ever Virtual Annual Meeting and 30th Anniversary Celebration live-streamed on Magic 106.1’s Facebook Live and YouTube Live Channels and presented by PNC Bank. Hosted by the station’s midday personality Ryan Da Lion and Family League President Demaune Millard, special featured guests included Mayor Brandon M. Scott, Board Chair Dr. Terris King, PNC Bank’s Ramsey Harris, and our 2021 Community Partnership Award winner Kim Sydney, Ph.D., dean of the Morgan State University School of Community Health and Policy and director of the Center for Urban Health Equity.
