• Board Support: $743,693
• Community Schools – Supporting Community School Coordinators at 21 Community Schools who will work with community and school stakeholders to build a network of resources, and assisting families in navigating the available supports and resources. $1,045,000
• Home Visiting – funding will support DRUM, one of the five accredited Healthy Families America (HFA) home visitation programs. DRUM supports high-risk families in select west and northeast Baltimore communities. $275,000
• Baltimore Hunger Project (BHP) – A weekend meals program that officially launched in the 2015-2016 school year. Building the infrastructure of BHP, which currently serves three schools along a corridor between northwest Baltimore City and Owings Mills. $35,049
• Youth Services Bureaus – YSBs are community-based, non-residential organizations that provide formal and informal counseling, case management, and crisis management services to youth. There are two YSBs in Baltimore: East Baltimore Youth and Family Services (EBYFS) and Treatment Resources for Youth (TRY). $380,236
• Competitive Award: Opportunity Youth-Unaccompanied Homeless Youth Strategy – Strengthen the existing network of providers and agencies affecting outcomes in the Opportunity Youth and youth homelessness areas. The four main components of the strategy will result in an expansion of case management services within theCONNECT, capacity-building for theCONNECT, technical assistance for workforce development providers part of theCONNECT, and a layering in of Rapid ReHousing supports for Opportunity Youth. $442,124
