DEMAUNE A. MILLARD

President & CEO

Demaune A. Millard was appointed the 5th President & CEO of Family League of Baltimore by its Board of Directors in April 2018. He leads and manages Family League’s $22 million operations, the largest local management board in the state of Maryland. Prior to his elevation to the role of President, Demaune served for over two years as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer and assumed the role of Interim CEO in July 2017.

 

In addition to his core responsibilities, Demaune also serves on the cabinet of the Honorable Brandon M. Scott, Mayor of the City of Baltimore, and is a member of the Greater Baltimore Committee’s (GBC) Presidential Advisory Council and the Johns Hopkins University Center on Adolescent Health Community Advisory Board. He chairs GBC’s Education and Workforce Committee and serves as Co-Chair of Baltimore City’s Community Schools Steering Committee. Millard formerly served on the United Way of Central Maryland’s Community Partnership Board and Baltimore City Department of Recreation & Parks #REC2025 Steering Committee.

Reverend Dr. Terris A. King currently serves as Chair of Family League’s Board of Directors. He is President of King Enterprise, serving as a consultant to several of the fastest growing small businesses and providing ongoing strategic guidance to Healthcare Technology companies serving the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Dr. King also serves as Pastor of Liberty Grace Church of God. Dr. King formerly served the federal government for over 30 years, holding three different executive positions for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). His tenure included six years as Deputy Director of the Office of Clinical Standards and Quality (OCSQ). His service culminated with his role as Deputy Chief Information Officer where he was responsible for information technology for the entire agency. With a budget of approximately $650 billion dollars and serving over 90 billion Medicare beneficiaries, Terris was part of the leadership that influenced the direction of the health care system in America.
