Baltimore, MD —As the designated Local Management Board (LMB) for Baltimore City, Family League invested more than $21.4 million to 81 community partners, benefitting more than 25,000 children, youth, and adults this year.
Thursday, November 10, 2022, Family League will reopen their doors for the first time since the outset of the global pandemic to celebrate 31 years of investing in Baltimore’s children, youth, and families at the 2022 Annual Meeting: Year of Innovation!
Festivities will kick off with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by recognition of honorees. Community leaders and special guests, including Mayor Brandon Scott, will gather to celebrate the community innovation that sustained our city through the public health crisis into recovery.
“Over the last year everyone had to adapt and adjust in ever changing environments. Our partners are true agents of change whose work too often goes unsung. We take every opportunity to recognize collaborative partnerships where people demonstrate our core values in ways that are impactful for Baltimore’s children, families, and communities,” remarks Family League’s President and CEO Demaune Millard.
This year’s celebration is sponsored by Comcast, MCB Real Estate LLC, Enterprise Community Partners, University of Maryland School of Social Work, PNC Bank, and the Davis Family Foundation, Inc.
