Baltimore, MD — March 13, 2023 – The Family League of Baltimore is currently seeking volunteers to serve on our Community Advisory Board (CAB) to shape the work of the Family League and represent the diverse communities of Baltimore. Members will receive a stipend for their service. Applications can be submitted at Work With Us – Family League.
Applications will be open through March 27th and advisory board members will be announced on April 3rd.
The Family League Community Advisory Board will guide funding decisions that result in the greatest impact in their communities.
Potential considerations for Community Advisory Board Members:
- Individuals who reflect the diversity of Baltimore
- Servant Leaders committed to driving change and improving outcomes.
- Connectors and collaborators willing to work as part of a team.
- Deep knowledge of the communities and people they represent.
- Ability to serve as an ambassador for Family League working to advance our partnership with community.
The time commitment for CAB members is anticipated to be 10 hours per month. Members will receive a monthly stipend for their service. Regular meetings will be held with additional meetings as needed. Meetings can be scheduled flexibly based on membership need but will typically occur during the evening.
